Search your team's data

Use the knowledge base to find information across your organization’s connected data. Ask Ventos a question in plain language; it searches the sources your organization has indexed and cites the information it finds.

Ask questions such as:

  • “What do we know about Acme?”
  • “What has happened with our relationship with Acme?”
  • “Find the latest meeting notes for Northstar.”
  • Find information about any company, customer, partner, person, project, or topic across every connected integration.
  • Search by name, keyword, or a natural-language description of what you’re looking for.
  • List every entry in a category — “all open opportunities”, “all customer accounts in EMEA”.
  • Pull up a specific document, meeting note, or record.
  • Compare data across sources — Ventos flags when different systems disagree.
  • Find the most recent update on something — Ventos verifies recency rather than returning the first match.
  • Filter and narrow results — “partners in fintech we have not contacted this quarter”.
  • Ventos can’t search data from integrations that aren’t connected to your workspace. If a source isn’t in your settings, it isn’t in the knowledge base.
  • The knowledge base is read-only. Ventos can’t create, modify, or delete records through it — for changes, ask it to use a specific integration’s write capabilities.
  • Ventos can’t access files on your local computer, clipboard, or browser — only data synced to the platform.
  • Data is synced periodically, so very recent changes (the last few minutes) may not appear yet.
  • Ventos can’t read sources that need authentication beyond what’s already connected — for example, a password-protected PDF that wasn’t uploaded directly.

How do I know which integrations are connected?

Section titled “How do I know which integrations are connected?”

Ask “what integrations are connected?” and Ventos lists the data sources available in your knowledge base.

Yes — that’s the default. To narrow to one source, say so: “in Affinity, find…”.

Why didn’t it find something I know is in our system?

Section titled “Why didn’t it find something I know is in our system?”

The data may not have synced yet, the search terms might not match how it’s stored, or the integration may not be connected. Rephrase, or name the system it lives in.

When I ask for “the latest,” how do I know it found the most recent version?

Section titled “When I ask for “the latest,” how do I know it found the most recent version?”

Ventos verifies recency rather than returning the first match, and always tells you the date of what it found so you can judge freshness.

Ventos surfaces the conflict rather than silently picking one — each value with its source and date.

  • Memory — durable facts Ventos keeps, as distinct from searchable source data
  • Attio, Affinity, HubSpot — the knowledge base handles reads; these handle writes
  • Google Drive — upload files; the knowledge base handles reads
