Use Ventos in the web app

Use the Ventos web app when you need a detailed answer, tables, citations, or a file upload. It is the full Ventos interface in your browser.

  1. Open the Ventos web app.
  2. Start a new chat.
  3. Describe the result you need in plain language.

You can continue with follow-up questions in the same chat. Open citations in an answer to check the source Ventos used.

It is also the unified home for every channel. Conversations you started by email, Slack, WhatsApp, or ZenZap all appear in the conversation list, marked with a channel icon. Those are read-only in the web view — click Fork in the chat to continue one as a new web conversation with the same context.

  • Hold a back-and-forth conversation — follow-ups, clarifications, and multi-step workflows all work naturally.
  • View formatted tables when comparing data such as relationship stages, account lists, or client summaries.
  • Click citations to open the source document in your knowledge base.
  • Upload files and refer to them in the conversation.
  • Use every integration and capability your organization has enabled.
  • Run commands and doc templates from the / autocomplete menu.

Type / in the chat input, or click the slash button, to open the autocomplete menu. It lists your organization’s configured commands and doc templates.

  • Commands are reusable prompt templates created by admins. When you pick one, its content replaces the /command-name text in your message — Ventos only sees the replaced content, not the command. Commands also work in other channels by typing /command-name; only the autocomplete menu is web-only.
  • Doc templates (/doc-template) are a shortcut that tells Ventos to use a specific template for its output.
  • Ventos can’t reach out to you first in the web app; you start the conversation.
  • Responses are static Markdown — no interactive charts, buttons, or forms.
  • Ventos can’t read your local files or clipboard; paste or upload content explicitly.
  • Keep conversations focused. Split different topics into separate chats. If a conversation drifts to a new subject, start a new one.
  • Send feedback. Use the thumbs-up / thumbs-down buttons on a response to send feedback to the Ventos team.
  • Email — async interaction without logging in
  • Slack — quick interactions without leaving Slack
  • Knowledge base — how Ventos searches your organization’s data
