Connect Monday.com to Ventos

Connect Monday.com so Ventos can work with your team’s boards and items from a conversation. An admin connects the organization first; each team member then connects their own account before Ventos makes changes as them.

Connecting Monday.com for your organization indexes the configured board data into the knowledge base.

Before you begin

For organization setup, you need an Admin role in Ventos and permission to create a Monday API token. Team members need access to the boards they will use.

A one-time setup, done by an admin.

  1. In Monday, generate an API token (see monday.com’s guide).
  2. In Ventos, open Settings › Integrations and click Connect on the Monday card.
  3. Paste the API token. Optionally add workspace and board IDs to limit which boards Ventos can access, then click Save.

To change the scope or disconnect later, click Manage on the Monday card.

Personal connection

Connect your Monday.com account so Ventos performs permitted board operations as you. This step is available only after an administrator has completed the organization connection.

  1. Open Settings › Personal Integrations and click Connect on the monday.com card.
  2. Authorize with your own Monday account.

What success looks like

The Monday card shows as connected for the organization. After a team member connects their account, Ventos can create and update permitted items as them.
