Connect HubSpot to Ventos
Connect HubSpot so Ventos can search your team’s CRM data and work with records from a conversation. An admin connects the portal first; each team member connects their own account before Ventos creates or updates records as them.
Organization connection
Section titled “Organization connection”Connecting HubSpot for your organization indexes HubSpot records and notes into the knowledge base.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”For organization setup, you need an Admin role in Ventos and permission to authorize the target HubSpot portal. Team members must use that same portal when they connect their own account.
Admin: connect HubSpot for your organization
Section titled “Admin: connect HubSpot for your organization”A one-time setup, done by an admin.
- Open Settings › Integrations and click Connect on the HubSpot card.
- Sign in to HubSpot, authorize Ventos, and choose the portal to connect.
Note which portal you connected — everyone’s personal connection must use the same one.
Personal connection
Section titled “Personal connection”Connect your HubSpot account to have Ventos manage records, tasks, and notes as you. This step is available only after an administrator has completed the organization connection.
Connect your HubSpot account
Section titled “Connect your HubSpot account”- Open Settings › Personal Integrations and click Connect on the HubSpot card.
- Authorize with your own HubSpot account, choosing the same portal your organization connected.
To disconnect later, click the trash icon on the card.
What success looks like
Section titled “What success looks like”The HubSpot card shows as connected for the organization. After a team member connects their own account to the same portal, Ventos can create and update records as them.
