Create and manage scheduled tasks
Use a scheduled task to have Ventos run a self-contained request later or on a recurring schedule. For example, it can send a weekly pipeline summary, research a company, or remind you to follow up.
Each run starts fresh, with no memory of the conversation where you set it up, so the instructions you give need to stand on their own.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Write instructions that stand on their own: each run starts without the context of the conversation where you created the task. Decide when it should run, which timezone to use, and where Ventos should deliver the result.
Create a task from chat
Section titled “Create a task from chat”The quickest way is to just ask, in any channel:
- “Every Monday at 9am, email me a summary of relationships updated last week.”
- “Remind me next Friday at 2pm to follow up with Acme.”
- “Run an open-opportunities report every morning and send it to my Slack.”
Ventos confirms the schedule, the timezone, and where results should be delivered before saving the task.
Manage tasks in the web app
Section titled “Manage tasks in the web app”Open Scheduled Tasks from the sidebar in the web app to see everything that’s scheduled.

In the web app, open Scheduled Tasks from the left sidebar. Each task shows its schedule, next run time, and delivery target.

Select a task to see the exact prompt text that will run, its run history, and the result of each past run.

From the task, you can pause, resume, edit, delete, or trigger a one-off Run now to test it.
Create a task in the web app
Section titled “Create a task in the web app”- On the Scheduled Tasks page, select New task.
- Write the prompt Ventos should run.
- Choose the schedule, timezone, and delivery channel, then save the task.
What success looks like
Section titled “What success looks like”The task appears in Scheduled Tasks with its next run time and delivery target. Use Run now to check the prompt and result before waiting for the scheduled run.
Scheduling limits
Section titled “Scheduling limits”- Tasks run at most once per day, on 15-minute increments (9:00, 9:15, …).
- Monthly schedules only go up to day 28, so short months behave predictably.
- Times follow the timezone set when the task was created; daylight saving is handled automatically.
- If the delivery channel is disconnected when a task runs, the result is kept in run history instead.
